Setting Strategic Direction for 2013

From September 2011 through spring 2013, COCC will be working to revise and update the College's strategic plan.  COCC has been recognized as one of the fastest growing community colleges in the country.  To meet this growth, a strong, focused and inclusive planning effort is critical.  Over this 18 month period, the College will determine where it wants to be in the future and begin to inform operational plans to reach the determined goals.

The College is building a plan that incorporates broad constituent input from both the College and service area communities and...

• is honest in the College's aspirations, connecting Mission, Vision, Core Themes, Goals and Priorities
• contains realistic, achieveable objectives that will give clearer meaning to College efforts
• promotes unification and collaboration by providing individuals, departments, divisions and the overall institution clear expectations and a defined role in achieving those expectations
• guidance on College resource allocation to assist College advancement
